AC 45 World Series

Energy France is the team of the French sailing icons Bruno and Loick Peyron. Loick Peyron was at the end of 2012 the skipper of the victorious trimaran "Banque Populaire V" who sailed a new world record of the Vendee Globe with 45 days and 13 hours Loick Peron hired also as skipper at Artemis Racing. Looking at the long history of the French AC teams, after Baron Bich was no syndicate which could run a challenge on a rich financial cushion. One can regret only that nobody is willing to finance an AC72, because the French have an experience for decades to construct and race successfully big offshore multi-hulls.
